Paleo Chili Recipe
So I made this paleo chili recipe the other day
and the taste was absolutely horrid! I wouldn’t try this dish
again let me tell you, once bitten, twice shy. I feel sick
whenever I think about it. And I’m kidding only by the way!
Truth of the matter is the recipe I’m about to share with you
was actually decent in taste. The wife said I should’ve added
more black pepper and I think she was right.
Well, barring the slight lack of black pepper, I’d say this
paleo chili recipe is pretty spot-on! Taste good and doesn’t
require all sorts of complicated steps to make. See, it’s
essentially a Texas style chili dish but without the beans of
course to cater to the paleo diet rule.
Okay, enough blabbing from me, enjoy this one…
The
Ingredients Needed to Make the Texas Style Paleo Chili
Recipe
3lbs ground beef
1lb hot pork sausage with casing taken off
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon almond meal (this one’s optional and for
thickening of the sauce)
¼ cup of chili powder
4 cloves minced garlic
3 roughly chopped onions
2 cans diced tomatoes
Sea salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
(A) Cook the pork sausage,
ground beef, garlic and onion in a pot on medium heat. Keep
stirring them around and when you see the meat have turned
brown, proceed to the next step.
(B) Toss in the remaining
ingredients except the diced tomatoes. So you put in the chili
powder, oregano and almond meal which is recommended because it
gives the sauce a really nice, thick texture. Don’t forget to
season the whole thing with some freshly ground black pepper
and sea salt.
(C) Allow the sauce to simmer
for about one hour or so. Remember to stir regularly so it all
combines nicely. Stir, stir, stir, take a few minutes off, then
return and keep stirring again.
(D) Okay! The last step is to
dump diced tomatoes into the pot. After you put the tomatoes
in, let the sauce simmer for fifteen to twenty minutes.
Alright, that’s it then. Job well done! Enjoy this wonderful
paleo chili recipe with your loved ones. Grab a bowl and eat
away.

Now truth be told, there aren’t many paleo chili recipes in
the book which disappoint me a little, but there're plenty more
interesting recipes such as the almond and coconut friend
shrimps, almond flour pancakes, and the crock pot basque pot
stew.
The recipes are done the paleo way and I haven’t tried them
all obviously. 375 recipes in total, so what do you expect?
Anyway, I’ll leave a link here so you can check out the
